Notes

'Little Goldstar' cutleaf coneflower (Rudbeckia 'Little Goldstar') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms in early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Anise hyssop, and Indian grass.
