Notes

'Summerblaze' cutleaf coneflower (Rudbeckia 'Summerblaze') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Yellow flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn, and butterflies and bees visit them. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is drought tolerant and grows up to 30 inches tall.

Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Anise hyssop, and Nodding onion.
