Notes

Lobed tickseed (Coreopsis auriculata) is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, ground cover, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It spreads by runners to form colonies, so give it room. Small yellow flowers bloom in spring, and scattered blooms last until frost. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Hardy geranium, and Dense blazing star.
