Notes

'Lochinch' wand butterflybush (Buddleja 'Lochinch') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Lilac blue flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Amsonia, Mexican hat, and Black Baccara rose.
