Notes

'Pugster Amethyst' wand butterflybush (Buddleja 'Pugster Amethyst') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is a compact, non-invasive form with fragrant purple blooms that draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It tolerates drought once settled in.

Pairs well with Blue sage, Little bluestem, and Mexican hat.
