Notes

'Long' oak (Quercus warei 'Long') is a tree for use as a specimen and in shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Yellowish green flowers appear in mid spring. The tree is also drought tolerant. Its large size makes it a good focal point in a big yard.

Pairs well with Coralbells, Cinnamon fern, Sedge, and Bloodroot.
