Notes
'Lord Lonsdale' rose (Rosa 'Lord Lonsdale') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has light green leaves and fragrant apricot blooms that attract bees. It flowers in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn. Alexander bred it in 1933.
Pairs well with Sweet William, Oakleaf hydrangea, and Japanese forest grass.
