Notes

'Loretta' dahlia (Dahlia 'Loretta') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The flowers are deep purplish red and shade to vivid purplish red at the top of each floret. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. C. Geerlings bred it in 1998.

Pairs well with Casa Blanca lily, Joe-pyeweed, Smoketree, and Stock.
