Notes

'Mabel Morse' rose (Rosa 'Mabel Morse') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The bushy plant has dark green leaves and fragrant, medium yellow blooms. Flowers open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and in early autumn, and bees visit them. Samuel McGredy II bred it in 1922.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Switchgrass, Nelly Moser clematis, and Casa Blanca lily.
