Notes
'Magento' lily (Lilium 'Magento') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Soft pink, fragrant blooms open from early to late summer on stems 36 to 48 inches tall. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the flowers. Vletter & den Haan introduced it in 1993.
Pairs well with Sweet William, Little Lime panicle hydrangea, Kansas peony, and Purple Prince zinnia.
