Notes

'Purple Prince' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Purple Prince') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and containers. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast to 24 to 36 inches tall and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Once it settles in, it tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Spider flower, Snapdragon, and First Knight fountain grass.
