Notes

Hardy kiwi (Actinidia arguta '(Male)') is a vine for screens, hedges, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It climbs and grows rapidly, so give it a strong trellis or fence. It blooms in early to late spring, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Dropmore Scarlet honeysuckle, Blue Muffin arrowwood viburnum, and Red elderberry.
