Notes

'Flowercloud Male' hardy kiwi (Actinidia arguta 'Flowercloud Male') is a vine for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It is an early blooming male cultivar, so it makes white to cream flowers in early to late spring, even on young plants. Bees visit the blooms. It pollinates fruit on Issai and other arguta kiwis that bloom early, so plant it near them.

Pairs well with Dropmore Scarlet honeysuckle, Campfire rose, and Western sword fern.
