Notes

'Issai' hardy kiwi (Actinidia arguta 'Issai') is a vine for food gardens, privacy screens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It climbs fast and can reach 12 to 20 feet tall, so give it a strong support. Its greenish-white flowers are fragrant and attract bees.

Pairs well with Polish Spirit clematis, Charles Joly lilac, and Nodding onion.
