Notes
Manchurian cherry (Prunus maackii) is a tree for use as a specimen. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. White flowers open in mid to late spring and are fragrant. It grows 20 to 30 feet tall, so give it plenty of room to spread.
Pairs well with Hoopsii Colorado spruce, Red fescue, and Danica American arborvitae.
Native range
Korea and Manchuria.
