Notes

Maple (Acer sieboldianum) is a tree for a pollinator garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun. Yellow flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. The foliage shows gold, green, orange, and red colors. It grows slowly, so give it plenty of room to spread.

Pairs well with Viburnum, Queen of Night tulip, and Sea holly.

North America and New Jersey.
