Notes

'Marit' tulip (Tulipa 'Marit') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Dark pink-red blooms open from early to late spring. The flowers reach 12 to 24 inches tall and last well in a vase. A.J. Agenant bred it.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Carnegie common hyacinth, and Bell Song daffodil.
