Notes

'Marmalade' coneflower (Echinacea 'Marmalade') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Marmalade orange blooms open in early to late summer and draw butterflies, bees, and birds. The flowers are fragrant, and the plant tolerates drought. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Munstead lavender, and Prairie dropseed.
