Notes

'Mary Todd' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Mary Todd') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. The flowers are fragrant and open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Globe thistle, and Red Velvet yarrow.
