Notes

'Maui Sunshine' coneflower (Echinacea 'Maui Sunshine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Yellow petals surround an orange center cone, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Deer tend to pass it by. It also handles dry spells well.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Nodding onion, and Sedge.
