Notes

'Mauna Loa' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Mauna Loa') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, containers, and low maintenance planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. The gold blooms have red wire edges and a light green throat. They are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Brown-eyed Susan, and Nodding onion.
