Notes

'Meadowlark' border forsythia (Forsythia 'Meadowlark') is a shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late spring and draws bees and birds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Once settled in, it also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Bridal wreath spiraea, Japanese forest grass, Blue Angel hosta, and Balloon flower.
