Notes

'Melita' rose (Rosa 'Melita') is a climbing vine for borders, cottage gardens, and specimen planting, with a few or no thorns. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium pink, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and attract bees. Walter Easlea, Jr. bred it in 1934 as a sport of 'Thelma'.

Pairs well with Nelly Moser clematis, Garden phlox, and Ornamental onion.
