Notes

'Melonade' melon (Cucumis melo 'Melonade') is a climbing vegetable for food gardens, containers, and cottage gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Melons are ready to pick about 70 days after planting. Yellow and green flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Jasper tomato, Giant of Italy parsley, and Alpha calendula.
