Notes
'Melvillei' common snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis 'Melvillei') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. The globular flowers have slight green markings, and bees visit them. This tall, vigorous hybrid forms a clump. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Carlton daffodil, Sedge, and Berry Poppins winterberry.
