Notes

'Viridi-apice' common snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis 'Viridi-apice') is a bulb for borders, rock gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, loamy or clay soil. It forms a clumping mound 6 to 9 inches tall, and its white flowers with green tepal marks bring bees an early meal. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Carlton daffodil, Sedge, and Berry Poppins winterberry.
