Notes

'Melvin' rose (Rosa 'Melvin') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Red blend blooms are fragrant and open in late spring, again in early to late summer, and into early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Paul E. Jerabek bred it.

Pairs well with Catnip, Blue grama, and Bouquet peony.
