Notes

'Meringue' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Meringue') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and bears double white blooms. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Butterfly milkweed, Standing Ovation little bluestem, Nodding onion, and Prairie dropseed.
