Notes

'Missis Dutch' dahlia (Dahlia 'Missis Dutch') is a bulb for borders, containers, and cut flower arrangements. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. The double magenta flowers have fluted petals with apricot and soft orange tones. They measure about 5 inches wide and bloom from summer to frost. Grow it where the soil stays dry in winter, or lift the bulbs and store them indoors in a cool, dry place.

Pairs well with Shenandoah switchgrass, Millenium ornamental onion, and Strawflower.
