Notes
Strawflower (Xerochrysum viscosum) is an annual for borders, low-maintenance beds, and xeriscapes. It shrugs off cool spells and light frost, though a hard freeze will damage it. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, loamy soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It is drought tolerant, so it suits dry spots. It grows 12 to 59 inches tall and blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn.
Pairs well with Purple top, Yarrow, and Lavender cotton.
