'Mojo' spotted beebalm (Monarda 'Mojo') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. It bears purple blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant flowers.
Pairs well with False indigo, Ironweed, and Buffalo grass.
