Notes

'Mucho Gusto' glossy abelia (Abelia grandiflora 'Mucho Gusto') is a shrub for hedges, borders, foundation plantings, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It has an arching shape and fragrant pink and white flowers in spring, summer, and autumn that draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Ornamental onion, and Autumn Frost hosta.
