Notes
'Music Mix' columbine (Aquilegia 'Music Mix') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Its bi-color flowers come in mixed colors and open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Bellwort, Royal fern, and Butterfly milkweed.
