Notes

'Mystery Day' dahlia (Dahlia 'Mystery Day') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The small flowers are dark purple with white tips. J.H. van der Lans bred it. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Purple top, Bigleaf hydrangea, Lemongrass, and Vermillionaire cuphea.
