Notes

'Neptune' rose (Rosa 'Neptune') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and loamy or clay soil. Mauve flowers have a citrus and old rose scent and bloom from late spring to fall. Bees visit the blooms. Thomas F. Carruth bred it, and Weeks Roses introduced it in 2003.

Pairs well with False indigo, Sweet pepperbush, and Queen of Night tulip.
