Notes

New Zealand iris (Libertia grandiflora) is a perennial for borders, coastal gardens, and focal points. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil. Clusters of white flowers open in succession on stiff stems above long, leathery leaves, and bees visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it protection from winter wet.

Pairs well with Purple sage, Calla lily, and Mondo grass.
