Notes
'Nico Vos' tulip (Tulipa 'Nico Vos') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms from early to late spring with purple-red flowers. The plants reach about 16 inches tall, so they suit the front or middle of a bed. J.F. van den Berg & Sons bred it.
Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Angel Cheeks peony, and Little bluestem.
