Notes
Stock (Matthiola longipetala) is an annual for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The flowers are fragrant, so plant it near a path or seat. It blooms in spring, summer, and autumn and grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Painted daisy, Oregon Giant pea, and Red fescue.
