'Night Silence' dahlia (Dahlia 'Night Silence') is a bulb with large pink blooms. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. The 4 to 5 inch blooms are dusty rose to lavender pink with dark purple centers, and burgundy-tinged leaves make the colors pop. It dislikes winter wet, so you can lift and store it in a cool, dry, frost free spot. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Meadow sage, Sea holly, Shenandoah switchgrass, and Elfin mother of thyme.
