Notes

'Oakleaf Blue' primrose (Primula vulgaris 'Oakleaf Blue') is a perennial for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun and average moisture. Purple-blue flowers with yellow eyes bloom from spring well into summer, and bees visit them. Deadheading can encourage more bloom. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Liverleaf, Chocolate lily, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
