Notes

'Old Gold' common juniper (Juniperus pfitzeriana 'Old Gold') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It stays evergreen and tolerates drought, so it needs little care. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 48 to 60 inches wide.

Pairs well with Woolly yarrow, Gertrude Jekyll rose, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
