Notes
'Hetzii' common juniper (Juniperus pfitzeriana 'Hetzii') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It stays evergreen all year and tolerates drought. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows well in acid, alkaline, or neutral soil.
Pairs well with Blonde Ambition blue grama, Arizona Sun blanket flower, and Gro-Low fragrant sumac.
