Notes
'Ontario' tulip (Tulipa 'Ontario') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms from early to late spring, so it brings color to the garden for a long stretch of the season. You can cut the stems for bouquets and enjoy the blooms indoors. F. Rijnveld & Sons bred it.
Pairs well with Bridal Crown daffodil, Culver’s root, and Little bluestem.
