Notes
'Oracle' blue spruce stonecrop (Petrosedum forsterianum 'Oracle') is a perennial for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. Its gray-green, needle-like rosettes form a low mat and often show rose tips in warm weather. Yellow, star-shaped flowers open in early to late summer and draw butterflies and bees. Deer tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Maiden pink, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Common toadflax.
