Notes

'Orange Emperor' tulip (Tulipa 'Orange Emperor') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late spring and grows 12 to 24 inches tall. Plant it in groups for a bold splash of color, and cut a few stems for a vase.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Minnow daffodil, Ivory Bells Persian lily, and Purissima tulip.
