Notes

'Orange King' tulip (Tulipa 'Orange King') is a bulb for spring beds, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). Give it full sun. The peachy orange petals grade into tangerine and lighten to yellow at the edges. It blooms from early to late spring. Large hybrid tulips do best with rich soil and a slow release fertilizer while they are in growth.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Sensitive fern, and Scentara Double Blue lilac.
