Garden uses

Notes

'Orange Wings' tulip (Tulipa 'Orange Wings') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It blooms in early to late spring and grows about 24 inches tall. The outer petals blend neyron rose, nasturtium red, and pale orange, with a fern green stripe down the middle. Inside, the flower glows Dutch vermilion with a yellow base and black anthers.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Blush peony, and Lily of the valley.
