Notes

Parrot lily (Alstroemeria psittacina) is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast to 24 to 36 inches tall with an erect habit. Brown, copper, and green flowers open in summer and again in autumn, and they draw hummingbirds and bees.

Pairs well with Catmint, Purple top, and Jerusalem sage.
