Notes

Pasque flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms in early to late spring in cream, tan, purple, or white. It stays about 12 inches tall and wide, so it fits small spaces. Rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Ostrich fern, and Tree peony.
