Notes

'Pastel Shades' celosia (Celosia 'Pastel Shades') is an annual for cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and accents. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with California Giants zinnia, Flowering tobacco, Narrowleaf milkweed, and Citronella grass.
